I am an Eclectic Pagan, a practicing Witch and an aspiring healer.
What this means is that I follow no set religion, nor a rigid code of beliefs. Instead, I make my own path in the world. I believe in a Great Spirit or a Great Universal Energy/Force, an energy that embodies us and everything around us. It is the Divine Force that powers life itself. It's the wind that breathes through the trees, the laughter you hear from a brook to the roar from an ocean wave. It is in you and in me. So in this sense you can call me a pantheist as well. This Divine Force, as a whole, is a genderless thing, neither black or white, but take it apart, you have a male and female essence. I believe these essences are manifested through the many different deities that we have and see throughout our lifetime and our history.
As a Witch, I practice the use of magic(k). What is magic(k) you may ask? It is the part of the Divine Force that drives us all, it is the energies that emanates off of everyone and everything. Everything gives off vibrations/energies and through using one's intent, their will to change their lives and through the usage of certain tools, one can manipulate these energies to reach a certain outcome. This is what I believe magic(k) is. For example; their are money and luck spells out there that really work if you put your heart into them and firmly believe what you are doing and by manipulating the vibrational energies of stones and plants. For it is my strong belief that faith is a key factor in producing magic(k) and spells with desirable outcomes. Of the aforementioned energies, I believe there is a wide spectrum of them, sort of like a rainbow from low to high vibrations; 'grounding' to 'uplifting' so to speak. The energies themselves are not good nor evil, they are neutral and genderless like our own spirits. What about those who say they practice 'white' or 'black' magic(k)? In truth, I believe that we are both, like the popularized Yin-Yang symbol but with more gradients in between. No one can be all good or all evil. The world around us is in shades of gray, it would only make sense that we too posses all those shades, just like the Great Force, the Great Spirit that drives us all.
